Course Description

The range of research in the School of Biosciences enables you to tailor your Master’s degree to your career requirements. Expertise in biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, cancer biology, protein biochemistry, reproductive biology, computational biology and aging, allows you choice and flexibility in your studies.

The Biomedicine MSc course at Kent is designed to give you the maximum choice and flexbility of topics to study, while providing you with detailed knowledge and extensive laboratory experience.

From the core modules, you will acquire research skills in genome editing, and techniques required in the biomedical field, as well as transferable skills in data analysis, critical analysis and written and oral communication.

Your elective modules then provide you with the detailed knowledge and experience of your preferred topics, and then you can harness your laboratory and data analysis skills in an extended research project.

Entry Requirements

Minimum 2:2 Honours degree or equivalent in a Biosciences related discipline.
